Children future of Nation: Dharam Vir



Chandigarh, October 30
Haryana Chief Secretary Dharam Vir has said that children are the future of the nation and it is the moral duty of the society as a whole to take care of them so that they become responsible citizens when they grow up.
The Chief Secretary said this during his visit to the Child Care Centres for the orphan and destitute children at Panchkula. He said that the results of the changes witnessed today in the society should be positive and the future generation should be benefited from these changes. The number of abandoned children was increasing day per day and the Child Care Centres were serving a very noble cause to take care of such children.
Mr Dharam Vir spent some time with the children at the centres along
with his family on the occasion of Diwali. He also donated Rs 5100 each to two of the Child Care Centres and distributed sweets among children. He gave assurance on behalf of the State Government to the management of these centres for full cooperation.
