CS submits Pay Commission report

CHANDIGARH, December 23

Haryana Chief Secretary Dharamvir, who is also chairman of the committee constituted to give its recommendations for implementation of Sixth Pay Commission report for
Haryana Government Employees, submitted the report on behalf of the committee to Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, here today.
The Chief Minister had already announced that the Haryana Government Employees would get enhanced salary from January 2009 and it would be new year gifts for the employees.
The Chief Secretary said that the committee had fulfilled its promises made to the Chief Minister for submitting its report as early as possible. He complemented all the officers and staff who was engaged in preparing the report. He said that Cabinet meeting would be held on December 29 to consider the report so that a new year gifts could be provided to the State Government Employees.
Finance Minister Birender Singh, Power Minister Randeep Singh Surjewala, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister M.L. Tayal, Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary Finance Ajit M. Sharan, Member of Sixth Pay Commission Committee P.K. Das and OSD to Chief Minister Dr. K.V. Singh were also present on the occasion.
