GJUST gets Green Campus of the Year award

Chandigarh, December 31
Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar has received ‘Green Campus of the Year’ award and the Vice-Chancellor of the University Lt. Gen. Dr. Devender Dayal Singh Sandhu, PVSM (Retd.) has been conferred with ‘Best Administrator of the Year’ award by the World Management Congress at India International Centre, New Delhi. The awards were given by Mrs. Irina A. Orolbaeva, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to India, on the occasion of a programme organized by the World Management Congress on “Beginning the Management Decade 2010-2020”. Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar is ‘A’ Grade NAAC accredited University.
The award instituted jointly by the International Association of Educators for World Peace, the Global Open University Nagaland, Confederation of Indian Universities and World Institute Building Programme.
On this occasion Prof. B.B. Bhattacharya, Vice-Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Mr. Leonard F. Hutabarat, First Secretary, Embassy of Republic of Indonesia, Ms. Caro Rupa, First Secretary, Embassy of Papua New Guinea, Registrar of the University Prof. R.S. Jaglan, Dr. Vimal Malik, Chairman, Malik Group, Dr. C.V. Chalapati Rao, Head, Air Pollution Control, National Environment Engineering Research Institute, Dr. N.K. Chaturvedi, Director, PGIMER, R.M.L., Hospital, Mr. Hari Om Munjal, Chairman, Bhartiya Sanskriti Prerna Sangathan were present.
