Triple god for Vijul Chawla in Haryana skating

CHANDIGARH, JAN 25

Vijul Chawla of Karnal has won three gold medals in the 23rd Shri Sushil Kumar Memorial Haryana State Roller Skating Championship at the Dronacharya Stadium, in Kurukshetra. The Karnal staker emerged champions in In line rink race 3, rink 4 and rink race 4 in the age group of 8-10 years.
Gaurav of Panchkula got second position in rink race 4 and Tanmaya of Rotak got third position in this age group.
In the girls category, in this age group Jaya Mehta of Ambala, Arsha Divitiya of Hisar and Avjot Kaur of Karnal secured first, second and third positions, respectively.
In the boys category in the age group of 10 to 12 years, Shray Chakarwarti of Panipat, Anuj Sood of Panchkula and Arashpreet Singh of Karnal finished first, second and third, respectively. Muskan of Gurgaon, Chhavi Bishoni of Panchkula and Hem Lata of Sirsa stood first, second and third respectively in the girls category in this age group. In the girls category, Pari of Rohtak, Ambika Sachdev of Karnal, Yashika of Gurgaon got first, second and third position, respectively
Other results: 12 to 14 years: Boys: 1 Saransh Kamboj (Ambala), 2 Kshitij Chakarwarti (Panipat), 3 Ashish Choudhary (Karnal).
Boys 14-16 yrs: 1 Vishal Awasthi (Ambala), 2 Karan Saini (Ambala), 3 Himanshu (Hisar). Girls: 1 Saru (Gurgaon). Girls Above 16: 1 Diviya Gaur (Ambala).
Principal Secretary of the Haryana Chief Minster, Mr. Chattar Singh, gave away prizes.
