The Director Health Services, Haryana has invited applications on plain paper from Haryana resident male candidates for admission to one year Multipurpose Health Workers (Male) Basic Course for the session 2010.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Health Department said that the course would be conducted in State Health and Family Welfare Training Centre, Rohtak and Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) School General Hospital, Sonipat.
He said that minimum qualification for admission in the course was matriculation from Board of School Education, Haryana or its equivalent with at least 50 per cent marks, 45 per cent marks in case of Scheduled Castes/Backward Classes/Handicapped and for ex-Servicemen/children of disabled and discharged military personnel. General Science including Biology and Hindi up to Matric standard was compulsory. No extra weightage would be given for higher qualification.
Candidates seeking admission to the course should not be less than 16 years and more than 27 years of age as on June 16, 2010, he added.
The spokesman said that applications on plain paper in the prescribed proforma should reach the office of the Director Health Services, Haryana by June 16, 2010.
HAU VLD DIPLOMA COURSE
Veterinary College of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar has invited applications from Haryana resident candidates for admission to two-year Veterinary and Livestock Development Diploma (VLD Diploma) Course 2010-11.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the College said that prospectus containing application forms could be obtained from the counter of the College from May 24 to June 30, 2010 and by June 17 by post. The applications complete in all respect should be submitted to the office of Dean of the College by June 23 and by June 30 with a late fee of Rs 100.
The spokesman said that the candidates seeking admission to this course should be at least matriculate or equivalent from a recognised Board/University with minimum 70 per cent marks. Ten per cent concession in the marks would be given to the Scheduled Castes students. The candidates should not be less than 16 years and more than 22 years of age (27 years is the maximum age limit for Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes) as on June 30, 2010.
Admissions to this course would be made on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test to be held on July 25, he added.
