Choudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University has cleared names for six posts of Head of Departments and five other officers of the University in its Board of Management (BoM) meeting held here today. The officers appointed include two Directors and three Deans of different colleges.
A meeting of BoM of the university was today held here under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. K. S. Khokhar. The BoM has approved the names of Dr JS Dhankar as Director, Extension Education and Dr Ram Kumar Yadav as the Director, Student Welfare while Dr A K Paruthi, Dr Santosh Dhillon and Dr Saroj Jit Singh have been appointed as Dean’s, college of Veterinary Sciences, college of Basic Sciences and college of Home Sciences respectively.
The BoM has also approved the names of Dr Ram Kumar Khatkar, Dr J.C. Kaushik, Dr PPS Baghel, Dr Indra Hooda, Dr Sneh Goyal and Dr Satyavir Singh. They will HoDs of Agricultural Economics, Agro Forestry, Nematology, Plant Pathology, Microbiology and Veterinary Parasitology respectively.
The Registrar of Univeristy, Dr RS Dalal made it clear that the process of appointment on these posts was started after according approval from State Election Commission. He informed that Dr RP Narwal and Dr AK Paruthi have been included in BoM as Technical Advisor for a period of one year.
