Haryana Sanskrit Academi invites applications

Haryana Sanskrit Akademi has invited entries/ applications from Haryana resident writers, scholars and literary institutions for giving them awards under various schemes.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Akademi said that Maharshi Balmiki Award, Maharshi Ved Vyas Award, Maharshi Bann Bhatt Award would be given to the litterateurs of Sanskrit language under 'Sahityakaron ka Abhinandan' scheme and Guru Virjanand Acharya Award, Vidya Martand Pt. Sita Ram Shastri Acharya Award and Pt. Udhishthir Mimansak Acharya Award would be given to the Principals of Gurukuls and Sanskrit Schools under 'Acharyaon ka Abhinandan' scheme. The Sanskrit Books published between April 1, 2009 and March 31, 2010 would also be given award under 'Sanskrit Pustak Puraskar Yojana'. Financial assistance would also be given to the unpublished manuscripts of Sanskrit or Hindi for their publication under Book Publication Grant scheme.
The entries/applications should reach the Akademi by July 31, 2010, he added.
