BTS to host NZ CBSE tennis from Oct 8

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 30

The Banyan Tree School, Sector 48-B is conducting the North Zone Central Board of Secondary School Tennis Tournament from October 8 to 10. Giving this information here today, BTS Director Ravinder Talwar said that competitions would be conducted in the Under-14 and Under-19 categories (boys and girls).
More than 20 schools from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir and Chandigarh would compete in the tournament. The matches will be played at the Sector 42 Sports Complex and The BTS Tennis Academy courts in Sector 48.
Last year DAV Model School, Sector 15-A and Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Sector 26, both of Chandigarh, had won the boys under-19 boys and girls titles, respectively. Hansraj Model School, Road No. 73 Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi were winners in the boys under-14 title. This honour in the girls under-14 category had gone to Carmel Convent School, Sector 9, Chandigarh.
