Exams postponed in 10 Yamunanagar districts

Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani has postponed the forthcoming examinations which were scheduled to be held from September 15 to 20 at 10 examination centres of Yamunanagar district.
While stating this today, the Board Secretary, Mr Shekhar Vidyarthi said that the Board has postponed the conduct of examinations due to floods.
He said that these ten examination centres were at Alahar, Jathlana, Khadri, Khizrrabad, Ledhi, Mughal Wali, Kathgarh, Salepur, Laharpur and Fatehgarh Tumbi in Yamunanagar district.
He said that from September 21 onwards, examinations at these centres would be conducted according to the previous date sheet. He said that if any private candidate did not take examination due to floods, the Board would, later on, conduct the examination of these private candidates with other candidates.
Meanwhile, Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak has postponed the M.Phil./URS/Pre-Ph.D. Entrance test(s) scheduled from Sept. 15 to 17, 2010.
MDU Registrar Dr. S.P. Vats said that owing to administrative reasons, the entrance test(s) have been postponed. The entrance test(s) would now be held on Sept 27 to 29 respectively in place of Sept 15 to 17, 2010.
