Hooda offers DSP post to wrestler Sushil Kumar

CHANDIGARH, OCT 1 Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda today offered the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police to wrestler Sushil Kumar who had won gold medal in World Wrestling Championship in Moscow recently.
     The Chief Minister, who was presiding over a function organized by Haryana Olympic Association in Rohtak today, also honoured Olympian Sushil Kumar, his teacher Satpal and coach Yashvir by presenting them with mementoes and shawls.
    While speaking on the occasion, he said that the Government was committed to promote sports for which a number of schemes have been implemented. He said that 171 sports stadia, each costing Rs 60 lakh, were being constructed at block level to facilitate youth of rural areas to take keen interest in sports.
