Applications invited for allotment of houses

 The Secretary, House Allotment Committee, Haryana has invited applications for allotment of Type-III Government houses at Panchkula (General Pool) and Type-IV Government houses at Sector 39–B, Chandigarh (General Pool) and Type-I to IV (on medical or compassionate grounds) Haryana Government houses located in Sector 39 B, Chandigarh/Panchkula from the eligible employees of the Government of Haryana working on regular basis in the offices located at Chandigarh and Panchkula.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the applications should reach the House Allotment Committee by February 15, 2011. Haryana Government employees who had already been allotted government houses of appropriate category at Chandigarh by Chandigarh Administration were not eligible to the Haryana Government houses at Panchkula.
The Haryana Government employees on deputation with other Government, Boards and Corporations were not eligible for the allotment of these houses. Similarly, the employees of Boards and Corporations and of other autonomous bodies are also not eligible.
He said that applicants applying in General Pool category at Panchkula, for Type-III should have basic pay plus grade pay from Rs 17101 to Rs 21000 in new scale and from Rs 6500 to Rs 7999 in old scales on January 1, 2010 and for Type-IV in Sector 39-B, Chandigarh, applicants having basic pay plus grade pay from Rs 21001 and above in new scales and from Rs 8000 to Rs 13499 in old scale on January 1, 2010 would be eligible.
He said that in case of medical or compassionate grounds, those employees would be eligible for Type-I whose basic pay plus grade pay as upto Rs 12900 in new revised scale and basic pay upto Rs 4999 in
old scales on January 1, 2010; for Type-II, those having basic pay plus grade pay from Rs 12901 to Rs 17000 in new scale and from Rs 5000 to Rs 6499 in old scales on January 1, 2010; for Type-III, those
having basic pay plus grade pay from Rs 17101 to Rs 21000 in new scale and from Rs 6500 to Rs 7999 in old scales on January 1, 2010 and for Type-IV, applicants having basic pay plus grade pay from Rs 21000 and above in new scales and from Rs 8000 to Rs 13499 in old scale on January 1, 2010.
The applicants were required to submit medical certificate issued by the Civil Surgeon, Panchkula, MS Sector 16 and Sector 32, Chandigarh and PGIMER, Chandigarh as per the policy. In case of compassionate grounds, the applicants are required to submit death certificate of their husband and they will have to submit an affidavit regarding marital status. They would not be allowed change of house from Sector 39-B Chandigarh to Panchkula on any ground. Even the mutual exchange could not be allowed from sector 39-B Chandigarh to Panchkula being separate criteria.
He said that most of the houses of Type I to IV are available for the allotment were on the first and second floor and once allotted, houses would have to be occupied otherwise the applicant would stand
debarred for allotment of this type of house for a period of one year.
The change of house would be allowed strictly on seniority basis on the availability of the house.
He said that once the allotment of accommodation has been accepted, the liability for license fee would commence from the date of occupation or from the fifteenth day from the date of issue of the allotment order whichever was earlier and wherever Government employee, after accepting the allotment fails to take possession of the accommodation with 14 days of issue of allotment order he or she would be charged license fee from such date for a period of one month or till the date on which new allottee takes possession of the said accommodation whichever was earlier.
All the applicants who had applied earlier for allotment of Type-III at Panchkula and Type-IV and Type-I to IV Government houses in Sector 39-B, Chandigarh/Panchkula on medical grounds and compassionate
grounds and are pending in this office have been consigned to record and they need not apply afresh.
