Job fair offers 1000 vacancies in Gurgaon on March 4

A job fair is being organized in Gurgaon on March 4 in which about 50 companies would participate for providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth and about 1000 vacancies are expected to be filled up through on the spot interviews.
While stating this today, a spokesman of  Employment Department said that the fair will start at 10 a.m. on in John Hall premises of Gurgaon. Renowned companies namely M/s Jai Bharat, Maruti Udhyog Limited, Munjal Showa limited, Sandhar industries, Bajaj Motors, Mortex Clothing, Orient Crafts and Pearl Global will be conducting on the spot interviews and selecting the candidates for jobs in their companies. 
The Employment Department has sent  information about the job fair in ITIs, polytechnic colleges, and Government colleges located in Gurgaon district so that maximum number of students could benefit from the job fair. 
         He said that unemployed youth who have done vocational  courses from industrial training institutes and polytechnic colleges will be benefitted maximum from this Job fair. The less qualified unemployed youth would also get ample opportunities for placement in this fair.
          He said that the department has received demand for filling up about 400 posts of fitter, welder, machinist, Electrician, Sheet Metal, Turner, Tool and Die Maker in various companies. Besides, 325 vacancies of tailor and sewing machine operator have been received from readymade garment sector. She said that in addition to the above vacancies, 113 vacancies of unskilled employees who have passed 10th or 12th standard have also been received and 40 vacancies for Electronics and Mechanical Diploma holders also exist.
