Baisakhi ushers in a spirit of merriment to Delhi Public School Pinjore

Baisakhi-a festival, basically related to harvesting in the country,fills the lives of the farmers with mirth and joy.The farmers happiness spreads and engulfs the whole community .Good crops are a sign of prosperity and well being of the national life. These feelings and thoughts were expressed in a talk delivered by Shweta Verma in the morning assembly today.The speaker apprised the students that Khalsa Panth was also formed by the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh on the day of Baisakhi.
13th April also reminds us ,the Indians ,of the gruesome Jalianwala Bagh massacre which provided a stronger platform to the freedom struggle and strengthened the will to break the shackles of slavery.

Principal Samson Masih asked the children to respect the freedom that we all enjoy for it has been achieved at a great cost the lives and sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.He also urged the students to become responsible human beings so that the country will feel proud of them.
