Teacher's day celebrated at DAV Public Surajpur

SURAJPUR, SEPT 5

Exuberance and extremely  lively atmosphere was in the air with the teachers and students all joined together, singing and merry making on the occasion of Teachers’ Day Celebrations at DAV Senior Public School, Surajpur on  September  5 in the school premises.

 The day that commenced on the holy note of lighting of lamp, tilak ceremony of the teachers gathered  a memento a memento with the cutting of the cake by the teachers amidst loud cheers that were followed by dancing and singing by the students. A game for the teachers was held wherein the teachers were supposed to identify the song on orchestra and sing it .

 Principal R.P. Anand while speaking on the occasion apprised the students with the significance of the day.

 School  teachers  Dr. Renu Sood,  Sarita Yadav, Neeru Arora, Anju Paul, Anju Sharma, Reenu Soni, Harsh Ohri, Laxmi Khurana, PC Dhiman, Parveen Garg, Shashi Gupta, Shushma Khosla were also awarded for their contributions towards the academics in the school.

Co-ordinator  Junior Wing Sukhjeevan Sharma honoured Principal R.P. Anand on this occasion

 Mrs. Shashi Gupta, Dean CCA  too gave inspiring speech  and blessed the students.

 The celebration concluded with the lunch and gifts for the teachers.
