Haryana Govt approves filling up of 285 posts of MOs

CHANDIGARH, NOV 22
The Haryana Government has accorded its approval for filling up 285 posts of medical officers in Civil Hospitals in the state.
          While stating this here today, Health Minister Rao Narender Singh said that in order to meet the shortage of doctors in civil hospitals, 285 posts of medical officers were shifted there from Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Community Health Centres (CHCs). Now these posts were being again shifted to PHCs and CHCs. As the Government had accorded approval, thus, recruitment would soon be made on these posts, he added.
          Rao Narender said that there would be no shortage of doctors in rural and urban areas with the creation of these new posts in PHCs and CHCs. One each male and female doctor could be appointed at every centre. He said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, state government is committed to provide best medical facilities to the people. Efforts were also being made to give better opportunities to those who had opted medical education as career. New medical colleges were being opened in this direction. Apart from this, MBBS seats in PGIMS, Rohtak had also been increased so as to facilitate the youth of the state.

Sainik School Kunjpura invites applications

Sainik School, Kunjpura has invited applications on prescribed form for admission to class VI and IX for the session 2012-13.
          While stating this today, an official spokesman said that the admissions would be made purely on the basis of merit obtained in the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination to be held at three centres at  Kunjpura in district Karnal, Rohtak and Delhi on January 8, 2012.
          The boys born between July 2, 2001 and July 1, 2002 (both days inclusive)  were eligible for admission to class VI and those born between July 2, 1998 and July 1, 1999 (both days inclusive) were eligible for admission to class IX at Sainik School Kunjpura for admission to class IX, the boys should have studied in class VIIIth in a recognized school. However, no candidate would be allowed to take the examination second time for admission to these classes, he added.
          He said that about 80 seats in class VI and 13 seats in class IX were available for admission to Sainik School, Kunjpura. As many as, 25 per cent, 15 per cent and 7.5 per cent of the total seats were reserved for the wards of defence personnel (including ex-servicemen), Scheduled Castes(SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) respectively, subject to their being found medically fit by the competent authority.
          He said that prospectus-cum-application forms for admission at Sainik School, Kunjpura might be obtained from the Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura on all working days upto December 3, 2011 by paying Rs.400 in cash for general candidate and Rs.250 for SC and ST candidates. The prospectus might also be obtained by post by sending a demand draft of Rs.440 (Rs.290 for SC or ST candidates in favour of Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura.The applications could be submitted to the Principal, Sainik School, Kunjpura by December 10, 2011, he added.

HBSE invites applications for scholarships

Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani has invited applications from the eligible students for providing scholarship under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students-2011.
          While stating this today, a spokesman of the Board said that the scholarship would be provided to those 1591 outstanding students who have scored 80 percentile or above in the senior secondary examination, March 2011. The students must belong to the non creamy layer and must not be recipients of any other scholarship to be eligible for the scholarship under the scheme.
          He said that students would be given a scholarship of Rs 10,000 annually during their three year degree course and when they begin their post graduation course, they would get a scholarship of Rs 20,000 annually for two years. Students who are pursuing professional courses, would be given a scholarship of Rs 20,000 annually during their fourth and fifth years of the course. The 1591 scholarships would be distributed among the students of Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, physically handicapped and general category as per the reservation policy of Haryana government. 50 per cent of the total scholarships had been reserved for girl students.
          Application forms complete in all respect should be submitted to the Board by November 30,2011,he added.

21 candidates in fray in Adampur Assembly constituency

Haryana launches drive to identify fake universities

The Haryana Government has launched a drive to identify self styled and fake universities or institutions operating in the state. FIR will be lodged against these institutions under appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code and UGC Act.
          While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that these self styled and fake universities and institutions were creating an impression amongst students that their degrees were recognised both for the purpose of admission in higher studies and for the employment in the central and the state governments, which amounts to cheating. This kind of fraud might ruin the career of young students and also bring the entire higher education system into disrepute.
          "According to UGC Act, only those universities which have been established under an act of parliament or state legislature or have been granted 'deemed to be a university' status under section 3 of the UGC Act, are entitled to call themselves "universities" and confer degrees. The degrees provided only by such institutions are recognised by educational institutions and central or state governments for purpose of admission and employment. Contravention of this provision of UGC Act attracts the penalties under the Act", he added.

Open Army Rally recruitment at Faridabad from Nov 15

MDU to organise counselling for M Ed coure

Applications invited for MH workers course

Haryana Govt to recruit 550 Urdu teachers

Haryana Education, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Mrs Geeta Bhukkal today said that the state government would soon recruit 550 Urdu teachers to promote Urdu language on large scale in the state.
          Mrs Bhukkal,who was redressing the grievances of the people at her residence at Jhajjar, said that the state government was  determined to make right to education campaign launched recently from Mewat a big success. The campaign had been launched to make people aware of Right to Education Act. Besides government it was the duty of the educationist, panchayats, school management committees and non governmental organisations to ensure that no child was deprived of education.
          She said that Right to Education Act was being implemented in the state in the right earnest. Besides providing free education and other facilities the state government was also giving scholarships to the children from class first. Referring to Dastak-e-talim programme being carried out in Mewat for the last month, she said that one lakh houses of 163 villages had been approached under the programme and the people had been urged to send their children in schools. Besides social organisations and panchayats women of Mewat had also contributed overwhelmingly to this programme. As a result of this programme about 5500 children out of 7000 non school going children had been admitted to schools. As many as 125 villages would be covered under second phase of this programme.
          Redressing the grievances of the people, Mrs Bhukkal directed the officers to address the grievances of the common men on priority basis.

Open Army recruitment rally in Rohtak from Nov 21 to 30

D Ed second semester paper now on November 15

Haryana Board of School Education has cancelled the D.Ed second semester paper Teaching of Art Education and Creative Work (Paper No -10)  scheduled to be held on November 12 on account of wrong distribution of question paper  one day prior on November 11 at two examination centres of Hisar. The examination of this paper will be held on November 15.
            While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Board said that a superintendent had been suspended after being found guilty in the preliminary investigation of the wrong distribution  of the paper. Disciplinary action against another superintendent and an assistant had also been initiated.   Education department would also be asked to take disciplinary action against superintendent of the centres.
            He said that the paper 9 of D.Ed second semester Health and Physical Education was scheduled to be held on November 11. However the packets of the  paper scheduled for the next day  Teaching of Art Education and Creative Work (Paper No -10) was wrongly opened and distributed among students at Hisar centres. The papers were immediately  drawn  back. The question papers scheduled for the day were distributed and the examination of the same was conducted.   The matter was brought to the notice of the Board. It took the decision of cancelling the leaked paper and to postpone the date of the paper to November 15.  Action against all those involved in the neglect would be taken, he added.

4 UMCs cases registered

Haryana State Teachers' Eligibility Test-2011 was conducted smoothly in the morning session from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today. As per preliminary report, as many as 14 unfair means cases (UMCs) have been registered which include one case of impersonation.
          While stating this today, a spokesman of Haryana School Education Board said that 1,81,184 students took this examination at 602 examination centres.
          He said that one case of impersonation was caught at Ambala Cantt.-47 examination centre. The impersonator had been handed over to the police. One UMC each was registered at Fatehabad, Hisar, Karnal and Yamunanagar, two at Faridabad, three at Chandigarh and four at Sonepat.
          The spokesman said that the examination was conducted without any interference. Officers of state administration and police, effective flying squads and police personnel kept eyes on the examination centres. The OMR sheets of the lecturer category examination which was conducted yesterday had been kept at board headquarters Bhiwani under police custody.

Tight security for Haryana State Teachers Eligibility Test

Haryana Police has decided to provide three-tier elaborate security arrangements for smooth and fair conduct of Haryana State Teachers Eligibility Test scheduled to be held on November 5 and 6.
          This was disclosed by Director General of Police Ranjeev Dalal while holding video conference with concerned Superintendents or Deputy Commissioners of Police in the state. The test would be conducted in 607 centres across 14 districts namely Ambala, Hisar, Kurukshetra, Gurgaon, Panipat, Rohtak, Fatehabad, Karnal, Panchkula, Faridabad, Kaithal, Rewari, Yamunanagar and Sonipat in the state.
Mr. Dalal directed them to ensure proper security measures in and around the examination centres. Proper screening of unauthorized articles like mobile phones, pagers and any other which were of prohibited nature in the examinations would be carried out. Strict vigilance would be carried out for malpractices like impersonation.  He said that the test would be held under the strict security measures. The responsibility of implementing security measures in all concerned districts had been given to concerned officers. Adequate force would also be mobilized from police training centres for this purpose, he added.
          He said that those who would try to create disturbance and disorder during the test would be immediately arrested and put behind bars. Eligible candidates would only be allowed to enter in examination centres. He informed that concerned district police chiefs would visit all the centres to ensure proper arrangements. Along with upgrading and preparing for strong measures, district police chiefs would also ensure that all Photostat shops adjacent examination centres should be closed on November 5 and 6, 2011 so as to avoid Xerox of paper outside the centre.
          Mr. Dalal said that all district police chiefs have been asked to ensure traffic management outside examination centres. As the vehicles of candidates would be parked away from examination centres, he appealed them to reach two hours before the start of exam so as to avoid any traffic congestion. The DGP said that about 4.6 lakh candidates would appear for this test. Police team would be very vigilant for conduct of fair test, he added.
          In view of ensuring two bye elections going to be held on November 30, he directed district police chiefs to start special drives, check every suspect person and work hard for the smooth conduct of elections. He also directed them to prevent crime like cattle smuggling, burglary, illicit arms and illegal weapons.
          Additional Director General of Police Law and Order Mr. B.S. Sandhu, Inspectors General of Police Mr. K. Selvraj, Akil Mohammad and R.P. Singh were also present on this occasion.

Applications invited for admission to M Ed course

Sainik School entrance exams on January 8, 2012

All India Sainik School Entrance examination will be held on January 8, 2012 for admission to class VI for the session 2012-13 at three centres in Rewari town.

He said that the prospectus-cum-application forms for admission at Sainik School Rewari could be obtained from the Principal Sainik School Rewari, sector -4, Rewari till December 3, 11 on all working days between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. The prospectus could also be obtained by post sending an application on plain paper by mentioning address and category alongwith the demand draft of requisite fee to reach the Principal, Sainik School Rewari, Sector 4, Rewari by December 10, 2011. Applications submitted on forms other than the prescribed forms attached with the prospectus would not be entertained. Application forms and prospectus would be issued to individuals and it was non-transferable. No person was allowed to purchase more than two prospectuses at a time.
            He said that the admission would be made purely on merit through  the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination, personal interview and subject to medical fitness of the candidate.

HBSE instructions to HTET candidates

Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani has issued important instructions for the candidates appearing for the Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test-2011.
            While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Board said that candidates would not be allowed to enter the examination centre without the photo identity card.  They should reach the examination centre as mentioned in the admit card one hour prior to the schedule time of the test.  The doors of the centre would be closed after admitting the candidates and thereafter no one would be allowed to enter it.  All the candidates should bring with them separate new coloured photo (passport size) and a valid Photo Identity Card for all the teacher categories.
            He said that efforts should not be made to enter the examination centre possessing any mobile, electronic item or any other unacceptable item.  Cases would be registered against those who would violate this direction under unfair means.  The candidates should attentively and carefully read all the instruction given in the question paper before attempting the paper. They should match the answer books OMR with the code and number mentioned on the question paper. They should also examine whether the  question paper has all the pages and questions according to their serial number. If any fault was found as per the instructions of the question paper, it should be brought to the notice of the supervisor without any delay. It was necessary to return the question paper alongwith the answer book to the supervisor.
            He said that candidates have to sign twice on the sign chart. They should sign on the sign chart while submitting the  question paper and answer book to the supervisor. Non-compliance of this instruction would invite serious offence of unfair means against the candidate who would not sign on the sign chart while submitting the question paper and answer book.  The candidates should not involve in any kind of unfair means as it would invite strict action against them.
