The Haryana State Council for Science and Technology (HSCST) has announced the result of the school students who participated in the State Science Essay Writing Competition for the year 2011-12.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of HSCST said that in this competition, Oorvii Tevatia, class 11th, student of Amity International School, Gurgaon bagged first prize of Rs.6000, Swarnim Bhardwaj, class 10th , student of Salwan Public School, Gurgaon and Akansha, class 10th, student of Shri Baba Mast Nath Public School, Rohtak got second and third prize of Rs.5000 and Rs.4000 respectively.
He said that Pressy Garg, class 10th, student of Satluj Public School, Panchkula, Ashish Kumar, class 12th, Government Senior Secondary School, Sonipat, Tamana, class 12th (non medical), Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Hansi, district Hisar, Simran, class 10th, DAV Girls Senior Secondary School, Yamunanagar, Aditya, class 10th, Model School, Rohtak, Ambika, class 12th, S.D.Senior Secondary School, Jagadhari, Neha Bawa, class 11th, New
Happy Public School, Yamunanagar, Nikhil Barwal, class 11th, Satluj Public School, Panchkula, Sanjay Singh, class 12th, Government Model Senior Secondary School, Panchkula and Manishtha, class 12th, Vaish Model Senior Secondary School, Bhiwani had been selected for the
consolation prizes of Rs.2000 each.
