Haryana Government employees can travel by AC Volvo Super Luxury buses while on tour

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 27
Haryana Government has allowed its employees to travel in the AC Volvo Super Luxury buses while on tour for official purpose and all expenses on this account would be reimbursed by the State Government.
While stating this today, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Transport, Mr Sultan Singh Jadaula said that  this was a gift to the State Government employees as the Government led by Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda has already implemented a number of pro-employee policies and programmes.
He said that now the employees of grade I, II and III with grade pay Rs. 4600 and above would be entitled to travel in Haryana Roadways AC Volvo Super Luxury buses.
He said that Haryana Roadways has 35 AC Volvo Super Luxury buses out of which 28 buses are operating on Chandigarh-Gurgaon-via Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi and Chandigarh-Delhi-Faridabad routes. The frequency of AC Volvo Super Luxury buses from Chandigarh to Delhi and back is about half-an-hour.
He said that these buses are equipped with Air-condition and heating system.  These have full width of LED based front destination board to assist passengers in knowing the destination, built in mobile and laptop charger on all seat rows, adequate luggage room with aluminum chequered sheet  floor, 49 comfortable  semi-sleeper calf or leg support passenger seats, entertainment system with DVD player having USB port and LED HD TV with 26-inch front and foldable LCD based 17- inch television in middle. The passengers get bottles of mineral water  and  English or Hindi Newspapers on complementary basis.
He said that apart from above Haryana Roadways has 37 AC buses operating from different district Headquarter to Chandigarh or Delhi and back.
