Mamta Sauda scales Mount Kilimanjaro

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 22
Haryana Chief Parliamentary Secretary  Jaiveer Balmiki has congratulated Deputy Superintendant of Police  Mamta Sauda for successfully scaling Africa’s tallest Mount Kilimanjaro which is 5895 meters high.
         He said that Mamta Sauda has achieved this success on June 20 by hoisting national flag at Mount Kilimanjaro and has brought laurels to the State and the country. Mamta had also scaled Mount Everest earlier and for this success in mountaineering, the  State government had appointed her as Deputy Superintendent  of Police. He said that she was also awarded by the President of India.
          Mr Balmiki said that despite the fact that she is a female and belongs to a poor Scheduled Caste family, she has exhibited immense courage. He said that she would be honoured on her return from Africa.
