PANCHKULA, AUG 16
Every step of Hallmarkites turns out to be a milestone. Setting new benchmarks in quality and global education is just their way of working. To sensitize the new generation, the 66th Independence Day, was celebrated in a different way by Hallmark Public School, sector-15, by endorsing ‘Know India Movement’ , in which the fascinating facts about our beloved motherland were floated amongst the common people.
All the colours of life were depicted through various performances. A musical play ‘Are Ruk Ja Re Bande’ left everyone in a thoughtful mood , dreaming about their future India, which is right now gripped in the vicious circle of poverty, hunger, terrorism, corruption, child labour, etc.
Tiny tots from Class Playway-UKG mesmerized everyone with long forgotten patriotic melodies like, ‘Nanha Munna Rahi Hoon’, ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo’, ‘Aao Bachhon Tumhe Dikhayein, Jhanki Hindustan Ki’ etc.
Students of Class V-VII presented their thoughts about Independence Day in the form of speeches on the social issues like child labour, corruption, drug addiction, female foeticide. In the end, everybody present there swayed to the melodious tune of the National Anthem with pride in their heart and spark in their eyes.
The Director, Mr. Jivtesh Garg & the Principal, Kavita Wadhwa opine that such activities are susceptible to renew the feeling of patriotism amongst the youth and are required to sensitize the GenNext.
