Vivekians celebrate Independence Day

 Vivekians celebrated The Independence Day with huge aplomb and perfect panache. Every nook and corner scented the great feelings of national integration as the campus wore the vibrant look with tri-colour balloons, flowers and rangoli. 
The whole atmosphere was packed with patriotic fervour. The National Flag was unfurled by Mr. Piyush Punj, principal of school, followed by National Anthem. Numerous cultural items enthralled the audience and glued them to their seats. Students delivered fiery orations and exhorted the youth to remain ready at the beck and call of the nation round the clock. 
The poems packed with the passion of patriotism and sacrifice were recited. The group dance, “Meri Jaan Tiranga Ha,” staged by students, instilled the feeling of love for the motherland in every heart.
Vivekians presented classical dance, “Dhin Tana Tana,” and group song, “Jis Ki Mohak” at HMT ground and Kalka to mark the occasion.
Mr. Piyush Punj, principal, urged students to shoulder responsibilities to take India to the pinnacles of progress and prosperity. Slogans such as “Jai Hind”, “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Bande Mataram” resonated in the air.
The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among students, teachers and employees of the school.
