Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed shock and grief over the sudden
passing away of noted humorist, actor and filmmaker,
Mr Jaspal Bhatti in a tragic road accident near Jalandhar early today. He
was 57.
In a condolence message issued here today, the Chief Minister said that Mr Bhatti was known for highlighting the problems of
the common man in a satirical manner. Mr Hooda said that Mr Bhatti would be
long remembered for his television series ‘Flop Show’ and
mini capsules ‘Ulta Pulta’.
Mr Hooda also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the members of the bereaved
family and prayed that the departed soul might rest in peace.
