CHANDIGARH, OCT 9
The seeds of Rabi crops are
available for farmers at the Directorate of Ramdhan Seed Farm of Chaudhary
Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.
While stating this today, a spokesman of the university said that the seeds of
RH-30 and Laxmi varieties of mustard were available in packets of
eight and five kgs. Similarly, the seeds of WH-711 and PBW-550
varieties of wheat were available in a packets of 40 kgs. Certified seeds of
C-306 wheat and BH-393 barley and TFL seed,without subsidy, of HC-1 variety of
gram were available in packets of 40 kgs, 35 kgs and 20 kgs respectively.
The seeds could be purchased from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from the office of the
farm and Kissan Sewa Kendra situated at gate number 4 of the
university, he added.
