15 MSD Centres to be set up in Sirsa

As many as 15 Multiple Skills Development Centres (MSDCs) would be set up in Sirsa Lok Sabha Constituency with the help of Member Parliament Local Area Development (MPLAD) Fund and district administration. These centres would be started at villages Odhan and Kharian of the district on January 26.  
        The MSDC at village Odhan will be inaugurated by MP Dr. Ashok Tanwar on January 26 at 12 noon. Training related to computers, tailoring, welding, electronics and mobile repair would be imparted free of cost at these centres. After getting training at these centres, the youth would be able to set up their own ventures and would get employed in government or private sector companies.
        About 20 to 30 youth would be trained in one batch of every branch. The training would be provided in three batches daily. The training period would be between three and six months. Certificates would be given to students after completion of their courses and on the basis of these certificates, the trainees could apply in various organizations for employment, he added.
        These centres would be operated by block level committee which would include members of Panchayati Raj Institutions and departmental officers.
