Land records of Gurgaon Dist villages available online

by Haryananewswire
CHANDIGARH, JAN 9
“Jamabandis” (land records) of all the villages in district Gurgaon are now available online and anyone can view the record of his land in the district by sitting in any part of the world by just clicking on the website http://jamabandi.nic.in, which is an official website of Haryana land records.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that a target was fixed for Revenue officials to integrate Haryana Registration Information System (HARIS) and Haryana Land Record Information System (HALRIS) pertaining to land records of all the villages in the district by March 31 this year. This is a major  step in computerization of such records and would help in checking fraud in sale of land in the district. On registration of sale deed of any immoveable property or piece of land, it would be automatically reflected in the online Jamabandi. Thereafter, incorporating name of the buyers in mutation register would be simplified. At present, the buyers of land usually do not opt for entry of mutations of that land in their name after registration of sale deeds.
