Power Corporations “Employees of the Month” honoured

Mr Devender Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, Haryana Power Distribution Corporations today honoured some officials of the Power Corporations for their outstand service and declared them as “Employee of the Month” in their respective circles.
They included Bhagat Singh, Assistant Lineman (ALM) Operation Circle Hisar, Sarwan Kumar, Head Draftsman (HDM) Sirsa, Narain Praksh, Junior Engineer, Bhiwani, Anil Kumar Sharma assistant Sub-station Attendant Narnaul and Anand Lineman of Operation Circle, Gurgaon.
Mr. Devender Singh appreciated the services rendered by the employees. He said that the good employees who put efforts for consumer satisfaction and commercial viability of the Nigam will be given appreciation letters and their services would be recognized. The employees at all levels would be accountable and they would be responsible for performance in their respective areas.
Among those honoured today, Bhagat Singh, ALM looks after four feeders in Hisar including D. C. Colony, Model Town, Urban estate and ITI. Through his special, efforts, Bhagat Singh succeeded in recovering arrears of Rs. 14.50 lakh, out of total Rs. 16 lakh, from the defaulter consumers in his area. Sarwan Kumar HDM Sirsa was rewarded for preparation of plans and estimates of development projects timely and accurately. Narain Parkash, JE I of Bhiwani was rewarded for his hard work for reducing line losses by way of properly maintaining and strengthening the power distribution system inI his area. He detected 449 cases of theft in his area and imposed penalty amounting to Rs. 93 lakh. Anil Kumar Sharma bagged the title of employee of month of Narnaul and Rewari on account of doing excellent work  out of beat. He contributed considerably in computerizing billing, setting up billing centre and control rooms and imparted training to data operators of both of the circles. Anand Lineman of Gurgaon was given the award for attending and redressing complaints on time and for indexing the installations of the DHBVN in his area, He serves at New Colony Complaint Centre in Gurgaon.
