UT House Allotmment Committee invites applications

CHANDIGARH, JAN 7
 The House Allotment Committee, Union Territory (UT), Chandigarh has invited applications from employees of Governments of Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh Administration or of Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh for allotment of general pool houses of higher and lower categories in Chandigarh  for the year 2013-14.
The eligible employee should be working on regular basis in an office or on Foreign Service having posting with substantive charge at Chandigarh, Panchkula or Mohali, except the district level offices.
The applications in form ‘A’ along with form ‘D’ should reach the House Allotment Committee, U.T. by January 31, 2013. The choice of floor or sector, if any, for allotment of a house applied for, may be indicated on the top of the application form ‘A’.The higher category of houses include houses from type 4/5  to 9 (old), type V and VI (new) and type-V(flat), lower categories of houses include houses from type 10 to 13(old) and type I to IV(New).
Those employees whose basic pay was between Rs 200 and Rs. 350 up to December 1977, between 700 and Rs. 999 from January 1, 1978 to December 31, 1985, between Rs 1600 and Rs 2199 from January 1, 1986 to December 31, 1995 and between Rs.5000 and Rs 7199 from January 1, 1996 to January 1, 2005 are eligible for type 11 (Eleven type) old houses.
Similarly, those employees whose basic pay was between Rs.200 and Rs. 350 up to December 1977, between 700 and Rs. 999 from January 1, 1978 to December 31, 1985, between Rs 1600 and Rs 2199 from January 1, 1986 to December 31, 1995 ,between Rs. 5000 and Rs 7199 from January 1, 1996 to January 1, 2005 and Rs 13,500 from January 1, 2006 to January1, 2007 are eligible for type III (Three type) new houses.The type 10 (old) houses are only for Group ‘A and B’ Officers (Class I and II) as on January 1, 2010 and type IV (new) houses are only for Group ‘A and B’ Officers (Class I and II) as on January 1, 2010.
Type 12(old) houses are only for Class –III employees as on January 1,1997 and type II (Two type) new houses are only for Class –III employees as on January 1,1999. Similarly, type 13 (old) houses are for Class –IV employees as on January 1, 2009 and type I (new) houses are for Class –IV employees as on January 1, 2011.
An employee may apply for a house lower than his or her entitled category to which he or she was entitled earlier. He or she will be allowed this option only at the time of submitting application and not thereafter. An officer or official can apply for only one category of house. All the officers or officials who had applied earlier and their names exist in the old seniority list of eligible applicants for a particular category of houses but have not been allotted house, need not apply afresh as their names would be included in the new revised seniority list for the year 2013-14. All the applicants have been advised to give their contact number of mobile number or e-mail address on the prescribed form ‘A’.
