Gorakhpur to be developed as ‘Adarsh Gram’

The Haryana Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Mr. Prahlad Singh Gillankhera, said that the State Government would spend over Rs 100 crore on village Gorakhpur, district Fatehabad to develop it as  a model village.
          Mr. Gillankhera was presiding over a meeting of officials in Fatehabad today. He said that with the setting up of nuclear power plant at village Gorakhpur, new projects would be developed which would prove beneficial for the people of the area. In the meeting discussions were held regarding accelerating the pace of construction work of nuclear power plant and schemes to develop the village as ‘Adarsh Gram’.
He said that 2800 MW of power would be generated through this power plant which would overcome the shortage of power. Also, new dimensions of development would be set. He issued directions to the concerned officials to take speedy action for development of the village and to widen the streets.
          He said that Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda would visit Fatehabad in the month of March to inaugurate and lay foundation stone of various projects and to review various developmental projects of the area.
