Haryana Punjabi Sahitya Akademi has decided to
publish a dictionary comprising bio-data and photographs of Punjabi
litterateurs and intellectuals residing in Haryana.
While
stating this today, Director of the Akademi, Dr. S.S. Bhandari said that the
Punjabi litterateurs should send
detailed information about their writings and awards won by them at plot number
16, sector 14, Panchkula at the earliest. He said that the dictionary would be
made available in the libraries of the country.
He
said that the Akademi has been organizing different story writing competitions,
kahani darbars, kavi darbars, fiction and poetry workshops, nukkad nataks and
seminars at different places of the State for promoting Punjabi language.
