RC Bansal appointed Claim Commissioner

The Haryana Government has appointed Mr R.C. Bansal, District and Sessions Judge (Retd) as Claim Commissioner to assess the loss caused to the property during the Jat Aarakashan agitations for reservation for Jat Community under the OBC quota in   Haryana.
        While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that a public notice has been issued to this effect. The notice also states that whereas in order to assess the loss caused to the private and public property during the years 2010, 2011 and 2012, all   persons having knowledge or acquaintance and having any material in the shape of CD/videography/documents about the loss to property on account of above agitations are invited to furnish to the Claim Commissioner, the affidavits, containing details of the property statement of facts, set out in separate paragraphs relating to aforesaid incidents in terms of the reference.
The affidavits be filed within 30 days from the date of publication of the notice and submitted in the office of Claim Commissioner, Old Public Works (Building and Roads) Department Building, Haryana, Sector 19-B, Chandigarh, during all the working days between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Every person furnishing the affidavits shall also furnish to the Claim Commissioner a list of documents, if any, on which he proposes to rely and shall forward to the Claim Commissioner wherever practicable the original, or the true copies duly authenticated as may be in his possession or control and shall state the name or the names and the addresses of the persons from whom the remaining documents can be obtained.
The affidavits submitted before the Claim Commissioner, shall as far as possible be in the English language. If the affidavits are in a language other than English, it shall ordinarily be accompanied by a translation thereof in English duly authenticated to be true translation by Notary or Oath Commissioner or Magistrate of 1st Class. Witnesses appearing before the Commission for recording their statements shall not be paid any traveling expenses.
