By Haryananewswire
CHANDIGARH, APRIL 15
The  Haryana Government would honour those teachers who would make outstanding performance in education, culture and various other activities at cluster level in the state under Class Readiness Programme.
This was stated by Additional Principal Secretary and Financial Commissioner, Haryana Education Department, Mrs. Surina Rajan today. She said that Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda would honour such teachers. She said that Class Readiness Programme has been organized by Education Department at divisional level to improve    the level of education of the children and to further develop the tradition of dialogue for their benefit.
She said that the State Government has set an annual budget of Rs 7000 crore for promotion of education. The State Government is laying emphasis on providing facilities to  the teachers. The concerted efforts made by both the teachers as well as the principals would lead to better output. She said that in the present scenario, the parents are more inclined towards admitting their children in private schools. In a survey conducted recently by two agencies has proved that on an average, Rs 1000 or Rs 2000 are being spent per child in private schools whereas on an average Rs 2500 are being spent per child in government schools. Inspite of it, the State Government is looking for better results, which is a matter of great concern, she added.
