Best Legislator Award goes to Randeep Surjewala

 A seven-member Award Committee headed by Speaker Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Mr. Kuldeep Sharma today recommended the name of MLA Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala  for Best Legislator Award of Haryana for the year 2012-13.

            While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Vidhan Sabha said that Best Legislator Award, which carries Rs one lakh in cash, a trophy and a certificate, would be conferred upon  Mr. Randeep Singh Sujewala in a function to be organized shortly.

          Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala said that he would give this award money of Rs. one lakh to meritorious students of universities in the state.

            He said that in all nine nominations were received for the award. These included MLAs namely Mr. Om Parkash Chautala, Prof. Sampat Singh, Mr. B.B. Batra, Mr. Ram Pal Majra, Mr. Bahadur Singh, Mr. Aftab Ahmed, Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal,   Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala and  Mr. Ram Kishan Gujjar.
