Capt Chhattar Singh elected HAFED chairman

Capt Chattar Singh has been elected unanimously as the Chairman of Haryana State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation (HAFED).
A decision to this effect was taken  at the meeting convened by the Presiding Officer, Mr C.M.Singhal, Additional Registrar Marketing, RCS Office held at Panchkula today.
Capt. Chattar Singh who has served Indian Army for almost ten years is also very well versed with the working of Cooperation Department as he has also served for almost twenty five years at various higher level posts in the Cooperative Department as well as Cooperative Institutions  of the State. Capt Chattar Singh remained Political Secretary to present Chief Minister, Haryana from the year 2005 to 2009. He was appointed as Administrator Hafed during the year 2009 and remained on the same post for almost four years. During the month of February, 2013 he was elected as Director on the Board of Hafed.
Capt. Chattar Singh has been taking keen interest in Social and educational institutions. Besides Hafed Chairman he is also Joint Secretary, Suraj Mal, Education Society, New Delhi, Member Gurukul Parishad, Matindu, District Sonepat and Treasuer Sir Chottu Ram Memorial Society, Rohtak.
Mr Jagjit Singh Sangwan, former MLA was also unanimously elected Vice Chairman of Hafed. The meeting was attended by the other members of the Board of Directors of Hafed and Mr Ashok Kumar Yadav, Managing Director, Hafed.
