Solid Waste Management Plant at Khurana

 A Solid Waste Management Plant of 100 metric tonnes will be set up over an area of five acres at Khurana road, Kaithal as per the Development Plan 2031. Besides, the site of old bus stand would now be utilized for commercial and entertainment activities as per the Plan.
          While stating this today, an official spokesman said that additional industrial area would also be developed over 223 acres of land between proposed Sector 37, 38 and 39 on Kaithal-Jind road and railway Thanesar-Narwana railway line. Similarly, outline had also been prepared for developing industrial area over 292 acres of land of Sector 36 and 36 which would be located between Kaithal-Jind road and Thanesar-Narwana rail line. Public utility area would be transferred from Kaithal-Jind road to south of Amin Drain. Also, under the 2013 AD plan, as many as 3568 hectares of urban area would be developed with prospective population of for 4.65 lakh. He said that commercial area of sector 33, would be converted into residential area. He said that according to the new plan, development schemes would be implemented keeping in view the increasing population.
