Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended departmental
action against three gazetted officers and one non-gazetted officer as
they have been found guilty in the investigations conducted by it
recently.
Stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that five
officials were also caught red handed while accepting illegal
gratification ranging from Rs 2,000 to Rs. 30,000 recently. Criminal
cases have been registered against them under Prevention of Corruption
Act.
These officials included Rajender Singh, Junior Engineer, Haryana State
Agricultural Marketing Board, Rohtak; Suresh Kumar, peon-cum-clerk,
Municipal Committee, Jhajjar; Makhan Lal, Clerk, Cooperative Bank,
Fatehabad; Zakir, Patwari, Hathin, district Palwal and Ram Kumar,
Assistant, office of Director Local Bodies, Haryana, Chandigarh.
