National Award to Haryana Red Cross Society

CHANDIGARH, MAY 1
 Indian Red Cross Society, New Delhi has announced the National awards to Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch for the year 2010-11 and 2011-12 for achieving the highest number in the field of voluntary blood donation during 2010-11 and 2011-12 and also two shields for the years 2010-11 and 2011-12 for imparting training in field of First Aid and Home Nursing. 
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Haryana Red Cross would be honoured by President of India Mr. Pranab Mukherjee who is also President of Indian Red Cross Society in Annual General Meeting of Indian Red Cross Society to be held on May 3, 2013 at Rashtrapati Bhawan Auditorium, Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi. 
He said that Mr. Jagannath Pahadia, Haryana Governor who is also President of Indian Red Cross Society, Haryana State Branch, Chandigarh and Secretary to Governor, Mr  Mohinder Kumar would to receive the awards and shields. 
       He said that individual awards have also been announced for Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Dhiman from Haryana State Red Cross, Chandigarh for the year 2010 - 2011 and Mr D.R. Sharma, Secretary, District Red Cross Branch, Faridabad for the year 2011 – 12 as the IRCS Certificate of Merit Award.
