A delegation of
senior officers and technical experts of Haryana Power Utilities led by Haryana
Power Minister, Capt. Ajay Singh Yadav will visit Europe on a study tour from
June 20 to 30, 2013.
The delegation is going on an invitation received from M/s ALSTOM T&
D France and M/s ABB Schweiz AG, Zurich, Switzerland.
The study tour is aimed to have more exposure to Gas Insulated Substation (GIS)
and Substation Automation System (SAS) Technology by inspecting the
manufacturing units of prominent GIS and Switchgear manufacturers in France and
Switzerland. They would visit sites and have first hand knowledge
regarding extent of usage of GIS technology by these European countries so as
to take appropriate decision on the extent of usage of GIS and SAS technology
by Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (HVPNL).
Those who would accompany the Minister included Chief Parliamentary Secretary
(Power) Mr. Vinod Bhayana, Managing Director, HVPNL Mr. Anurag Aggarwal, Chief
Engineer (Planning) Mr. J.K. Juneja, Superintending Engineer (Coordination) Mr.
Sanjeev Kumar Bansal and Superintending Engineer (Transmission System) Mr.
Rajesh Gupta.
