Mrs Sushma to get awarded ‘President’s Award’

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 21

Mrs  Sushma Gupta, an Anganwadi worker of Jyotinagar in Kurukshetra district will be awarded   ‘President’s Award’ for her outstanding contribution in social services.          

            The award carries a cash prize of Rs.25,000 and a certificate.

While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that earlier  Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda had also honoured her with Best Anganwadi Worker award in year 2011 which carries Rs.5100 and a certificate. Apart from this, Mrs. Gupta has also been awarded at district level in the year 2009 for rendering distinguished services in social welfare.

Mrs. Gupta had joined as Anganwadi Worker in the year 1988.
