Hooda lauds Army’s efforts towards disaster management

CHANDIGARH, JULY 11  
The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupinder Singh Hooda, lauded the efforts of Army towards disaster management and assured to provide all assistance for the welfare of Army Personnel.
        Mr. Hooda was interacting with Lieutenant General Philip Campose, AVSM, VSM who made a courtesy call on him at his residence here today. Lieutenant General Philip took over the reins of the Western Command on July 1, 2013.
          The Chief Minister also appreciated the good rapport and understanding between the Army and the civil Administration.
          They discussed issues of mutual interest pertaining to Haryana. Lieutenant General Philip highlighted the need for enhancing resettlement opportunities for retiring Army personnel and issues regarding training of youth for recruitment as officers in the Indian Army.
