VB recommends departmental action against 58 officers

CHANDIGARH, JULY 26

 Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended departmental action against ten gazetted and 48 non-gazetted officers as they have been found guilty in five different enquiries conducted by the Bureau recently.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Bureau said that 15 officers and officials were also caught red handed recently while accepting illegal gratification ranging from Rs 1000 to Rs. one lakh. Criminal cases have been registered against them under Prevention of Corruption Act.

These officials included Surender Kumar Ahuja, Junior Engineer (JE), Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, Gurgaon, Rameshwar Das, JE, Office of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, Block Bada Gudda, Sirsa, Head Constable Arvind Kumar, Police Line, Bhiwani, Satya Narain, Kanungo, Land Acquisition Officer, Gurgaon, Sushil Malik, Inspector Training School, Haryana Roadways, Karnal, Mohinder Singh, Store Munshi, UHBVN, Titram, Kaithal, Prem Singh, Treasury Assistant, Treasury Office, Bawanikhera, Bhiwani and Inspector Sajjan Kumar, Station House Officer, Police Station, Sadar, Gurgaon and Sajeev Gupta, a resident of Sheetla Mata Road, Police Station, Civil Line,Gurgaon.

          He said that the case has also been registered against Sukram Pal, Patwari, Garhi Brahman Constituency, Sonipat, Mehboob Khan, Peon cum Clerk, Walkf Board, Firozpur Zirka, Mewat, Head Constable Vijay Singh, Police Post Hanspur, Police Station Sadar, Fatehabad, Kuldeep Singh, Deputy Superintendent, Public Health, Fatehabad, Inspector Bhagat Singh, PGT, Taxation Department, Gurgaon, Om Parkash, Patwari, Deshu Jodha-1, Constituency, Dabwali, Sirsa and Som Nath, Supervisor, Market Committee, Siwani, Bhiwani.
