CM honours family members of martyrs

 Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda honoured the family members of the martyrs of the country  at a function organised at  New Delhi last evening.
The function was organized by a Media Group to felicitate the families of those Jawans and Officers of military and para-military forces, who had won Paramvir Chakra, Mahavir Chakra and other medals of bravery.
On this occasion, Mr Hooda said that the Jawans and Officers sacrifice their lives while doing their duty, so that their countrymen live in peace. The society and the country, which forgets their martyrs, cannot progress. It is our duty to pay respect and care for their families. Haryana Government has started a number of welfare schemes to help these families, he added.
Chandigarh, February 12 – Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced   to give education allowance  to the children of deceased State Government employees who die while in service.
          While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Government has decided to grant education allowance up to Rs 6,000 per annum each for two children from nursery to +2 level of  the deceased Haryana Government employees who die while in service. Thereafter, fee on account of tuition fee and laboratory fee would be reimbursed who are studying in Government, government aided, recognized private educational institutions, technical institutions and professional colleges for two living children of deceased government employee. However, the reimbursement of such fee would be equivalent to fee charged by the government colleges or institutions or less.
  The reimbursement of fee would be made by the concerned department, he added.
ISSUE RECEIPTS: The Haryana Government has directed all the government officers and officials to give a receipt to all persons who submit their applications with them.
          According to a letter issued by office of Chief Secretary, compliance of these orders has been made mandatory.
