Election Commission of India has released the list of disqualified persons under Representation of People Act 1951 for not fulfilling the guidelines during Lok Sabha elections and Legislative Assembly elections in Haryana.
While stating this here today, Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Shrikant Walgad said that list of disqualified persons issued by the Commission is available on website www.eci.nic.in under heading Judicial Reference-List of Disqualified Persons for use of Returning Officers and other election authorities concerned.
He said that Ramesh Kumar, Amar Mohammad, Jagan, Nazir Ahmed, Naresh Yadav, Naveen, Manbir Singh, Rakesh and Satinder Singh Thakran have been disqualified up to September 7, 2014 and Vinod Kumar up to July 7, 2014. Similarly, Ashok, Lal Singh, Anand Parkash, Mulakh Raj have been disqualified up to August 8, 2014.
He said that Sanjeev Kumar, Geeta Sharma, Mulakh Raj, Shamsher Singh Arya, Sudesh Kumar Bhardwaj, Baldev Raj, Anu, Tarsem, Ram Kumar, Ram Singh, Randhir, Rishi Pal Malik, Sher Singh, Karam Pal, Ranbir Siingh, Satpal, Rajbir, Inderjeet, Trilok Bhardwaj, Rani Devi, Ranbir Singh, Swami Raghvanand, Ishwar, Sukhbir, Yashpal, Balkar Singh, Satpal, Suman, Kitaba, Sarwan, Naredner Kumar alias Billu, Umed Singh, Amarjit Kaur, Roshan Lal, Manjeet, Rajbir Singh, Manju Bala, Gurmit Singh, Bhupender Singh, Vinod Kumar, Devi Lal Beniwal, Ajit, Anil, Satyawan Nehra, Kashmir, Krishan, Dilip Singh, Sunil, Suresh Kumar, Krishan, Ramdhari, Parmod, Mukesh, Rajesh, Dharam Chand, Partap Singh, Usman, Lalit Sharma, Trilok Chand, Mahaveer Singh, Girraj Kishor, Buddh Ram Nehra, Advocate, Likhkhi Ram Solanki, Manohar and Mange Ram Sharma have been disqualified up to June 7, 2014 by the Commission.
Mr. Walgad further informed that Ramesh Kumar, Arya Ajay Singh, Ramesh, Rajesh Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Mukesh Balmiki, Inderpal Mistri, Ravi Shankar, Dayanand, Shiv Kumar, Bhupender Singh, Ramotar, Virender Kumar Kirori and Mahipal have been disqualified up to July 7, 2014. He said that similarly, Sudesh Rani, Parmod Sharma, Shushil Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Sultan Singh, Maha Singh, Rahul Jain, Sube Singh, Prahlad Singh, Satpal, Mamta, Rajesh and Raj Kishore have been disqualified by the Election Commission of India up to December 7, 2014.
Meanwhile, Election Commission of India has issued guidelines regarding tours of Chief Minister during enforcement of Model code of conduct in the state.
While stating this here today, Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Mr. Shrikant Walgad said that one member of personal staff of Chief Minister of the state or Union territory has been allowed to accompany him on personal or private tour during the model code of conduct. The person accompany the Chief Minister should be a non-gazetted officer. Apart of that, such personal staff would not take part in any political activity or assist the Chief Minister in his political work.
