196405 metric tons of wheat arrive in Haryana mandis

About 196405 metric tons of wheat has so far arrived in various mandis of Haryana during the current procurement season.
          While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Food and Supplies Department said the Government agencies have purchased 196381 metric tonnes of wheat whereas  24 metric tonnes of wheat have been purchased by millers.
            He said that Food and Supplies Department has purchased 74173 metric tonnes of wheat, HAFED 51145 metric tonnes, Agro Industries Corporation 10645 metric tonnes, Haryana Warehousing Corporation 19440 metric tonnes, CONFED 8204 metric tonnes and Food Corporation of India had purchased 32774 metric tonnes of wheat, he added.
          He said that district Kaithal is leading in the wheat arrival where 41017 metric tonnes of wheat has arrived in the mandis, followed by Faridabad with 21921metric tonnes. District Sonipat ranks third in the wheat arrival where 18400 metric tonnes of wheat has arrived in the mandis, in district Panipat, 28295 metric tonnes of wheat has arrived. Similarly, in Kurukshtera 19512 metric tonnes of wheat has arrived in the mandis, in Ambala 15959 metric tonnes, in Gurgaon 9904 metric tonnes, in Jhajjar 2906 metric tonnes, in Rohtak 7818 metric tonnes, in Yamuna Nagar 3248 metric tonnes, Jind 12 metric Tonnes and in Panchkula 39 metric tonnes of wheat has arrived in the mandis.
