Jhajjar to have ultramodern museum

 Director General, Archaeology and Museums Sudhir Rajpal said that the old museum situated at Gurukul College, Jhajjar will be renovated and a new ultramodern Museum will be constructed at Gurukul land on Jhajjar-Rewari road.
          This was revealed by Mr. Rajpal while inspecting the old museum situated at the premise of Jhajjar Gurukul today. He also visited the proposed land to be allotted for the museum. He also interacted with the concerned officers of the department regarding the proposed construction site of museum and also gave necessary directions.
          Mr. Rajpal said that a Joint Committee was being constituted by the State Government and Gurukul Management for the construction of new museum and its upkeep. He said that the new museum would be constructed under the supervision of Swami Omanand Sarswati Sangrahalaya Samiti adding that under the supervision of Samiti, the museum would be developed in ultramodern way. In the new museum, the researchers would get the opportunity to conduct research and the future generation would be acquainted with country's heritage in a better way, he added.
          He said that it would be matter of pride for the Jhajjar Gurukul that such a rare and historical museum would be renovated. He said that a survey report has already been prepared by the officers of Department of Archaeology and Museums for the renovation of this museum. He said that the Gurukul Institutions were preserving the ancient civilization of the country and also keeping the country’s culture vibrant. Therefore, while renovating the museum, the rich heritage of the country would be preserved for the future generation, he further added.
