Fatehabad City to have multi specialty 100-bedded hospital

Fatehabad City will soon have a Multi Specialty Hospital as the process of constructing this 100 bedded hospital over 14 acres of land at Sector 9 of HUDA has already commenced. The people of district Fatehabad would not have to go other places for treatment after the setting up of this hospital.
          While giving this information today, an official spokesman said that HSCC India Private Limited has been appointed as consultant for preparing the design and estimate for construction of the hospital. He said that HUDA has completed all formalities and has sent the case to headquarters which would soon approved it.
He said that HUDA has not only given new face to the development of the city, but has also undertaken various important projects in the field of health. He said that HUDA has constructed a Poly Clinic costing Rs 3.25 crore in HUDA Sector. This Poly Clinic has separate wards for women and men, a general ward and an x-ray lab.
          The spokesman said that HUDA has spent over Rs 55 crore on various developmental works during the tenure of present State Government. So far 20 per cent of the work of a sewerage line costing over Rs 2.35 crore being laid down in Sector 11 has been completed. Similarly, roads were being constructed at a cost of Rs 3.39 crore in Mandi Township Residential Area, M.T.S. Bhattu and sewerage facility was being provided at a cost of over Rs one crore. He said that 25 per cent work of sewerage has already been completed in Mandi Township Residential Area, M.T.S. Bhattu.
          Apart from this, a 4.5 kilometer bypass on Delhi-Hisar-Sirsa-Bhuna Road has been constructed at a cost of Rs 13.90 crore in Fatehabad. Similarly, outer roads of sector 9, 10, 11 and 11A have been constructed at a cost of Rs 8.65 crore. Also, the work of internal roads in sector 11 has been completed at a cost of Rs 8.70 crore. He said that footpath has been constructed at a cost of Rs 83 lakh in Mandi Township Fatehabad. Similarly, a sum of Rs two crore has been spent on development of auto market in Mandi Township Bhattu.
