Three Haryana IAS officers transferred

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 25The Haryana Government has issued posting orders of three IAS officers with immediate effect. Mr C R Rana, Registrar, Haryana Cooperative Societies and Managing Director, Sugarfed, Panchkula has also been given the charge of Director General and Secretary, Agriculture Department and Managing Director, Agro Industries during the training period of Mr Brijendra Singh.
Mr R S Kharb, Chief Administrator, Haryana Housing Board has been posted as Chief Executive, Haryana Khadi and Village Industries Board relieving Mr Ashok Sangwan of the said charge.
Mr Vinay Singh, Administrator, Haryana Urban Development Authority, Panchkula has been given additional charge of Chief Administrator, Haryana Housing Board, vice Mr R S Kharb.
HAU MOUNTAINEERING EXPEDITION: The Vice-Chancellor, Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Dr. K.S. Khokhar today flagged off a contingent of mountaineers of the university who will trek high altitudes in Changtang valley (Ladakh).
While stating this today, a spokesman of the University said that the contingent comprised of eight boys and four girl students who would reach Leh from Spiti valley after crossing the 18,500 ft high Prang La pass.
The Vice-Chancellor, Dr. K.S. Khokhar extended his best wishes to the mountaineers and urged them to study the vegetation of the area as well along with enjoying the expedition. Dr. R.K. Pannu, Director Students' Welfare said the contingent under the leadership of Dr. Mukesh Saini and Dr. Subhash Chander would also travel 200 km on foot in the expedition.
On this occasion, Registrar, Dr. S.S. Dahiya, Dean, PGS, Dr. Raj Bala Grewal, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering, Dr. A.K. Goel and Director Human Resource Management, Dr. Ram Singh were also present.
REPAIR OF ROADS: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has approved a sum of about Rs. 241.89 lakh for repair of seven roads in district Yamunanagar.
While a sum of Rs. 159.49 lakh has been approved for repair of six roads of Radaur, Rs. 82.40 lakh has been approved for special repair of link road from Yamuna Nagar Jathlana road to Bagwali in district Yamunanagar.
The six roads of Radaur which would be repaired included link road from Radaur Jathlana road to Nachron at a cost of Rs. 5.43 lakh, link road from Sadhaura to Sura at a cost of Rs. 25.94 lakh, link road from Jathlana Gumthala road to Lal Chhapar at a cost of Rs. 7.94 lakh, improvement of Ladwa Mustafabad road to Shahabpur and Shahabpur to Ramgarh at a cost of Rs. 86.84 lakh and Rs. 5.94 lakh respectively, repair of link road from Radaur Jathlana road to Mandhar at a cost of Rs. 27.40 lakh.
HINDU DOGRA COMMUNITY CERTIFICATE: The Haryana Government has decided to issue "Hindu Dogra Community Certificate" to the youth of the oustees of Bhakra Dam who have been settled in Haryana as per rehabilitation plan for enrolment in the Army and para Military Forces.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that they will be issued certificate only in case they produce outstees certificate before the Sub divisional Magistrate or Deputy Commissioner of jurisdiction concerned.
This Certificate will be valid only for the purpose of recruitment in Indian Defence Forces and Central Armed Police Forces.
RECOVERY OF LOANS: The Haryana Government has decided that recovery of any outstanding amount of loan could be made from lump sum amount to be received by the employee on retirement from the corpus related to National Pension System (NPS).
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that a letter to this effect has been issued by the Finance Department.
He said that since final documents of the employee were sent to National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) through Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO), so DDO could issue necessary instructions to NSDL, if any recovery is to be made from the official or officers.
DEARNESS ALLOWANCE ENHANCED: The Haryana Government has enhanced Dearness Allowance to the pensioner or family pensioners of ex-Legislators of Haryana Legislative Assembly from the existing rate of 183 per cent to 200 per cent of the basic pension or family pension and dearness pension and dearness family pension with effect from January 1, 2014.
