Hooda honours Vishal Dahiya and Kalkal

CHANDIGARH, JULY 2
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today honoured Vishal Dahiya of village Jarot, district Sonepat and Kalkal of village Imlota district Bhiwani have been commissioned by Indian Military Academy (IMA) and awarded gold and silver medal respectively. The function was organized by Haryana Ex Services League at Haryana Bhawan, New Delhi.
While congratulating Mr. Dahiya and Mr. Kalkal, Mr. Hooda said that Haryana Government gives a cash prize of Rs one lakh for getting commissioned by IMA. He said that 50,000 houses were being constructed for defence personnel and ex-servicemen. It is matter of proud that every 10th soldier in Indian army belongs to Haryana, added Mr. Hooda.Speaking on the occasion, President, Haryana Ex-Servicemen League, Lt Cdr Inder Singh said that the League would organize a rally in Dadri, district Bhiwani on August 10 in which the Chief Minister, Mr. Hooda would be chief guest.
SIX IPS OFFICERS TRANSFERRED: The Haryana Government has issued postings and transfers order of six IPS officers with immediate effect.
Rajbir Singh Deswal IGP, Telecommunication becomes IGP Karnal Range,Karnal against a vacant post.Rakesh Arya ,SP Palwal has been posted as SP Telecommunication .He will also look after the work of AIG,Administation.Naveen Bhasin,SP,Rewari goes as DCP East ,Gurgaon relieving Bharti Arora of the said additional charge.Hamid Akatar,AIG Admn will be new SP Rewari.Rahul Sharma,SP,CID has been posted as SP, Panchkula.Pat Ram Singh,SP,SVB will be new SP ,Palwal.
GHANSHAM TO BE HONOURED: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced that a felicitation function would be organized during this month to honour Throwball player of Haryana Ghanshyam Singh who has won gold medal in 5th Asian Throwball Championship held recently in Malaysia.
Mr. Hooda announced this when Ghanshyam Singh called on Mr. Hooda at his Delhi residence today to take his blessings.
The Chief Minister congratulated ace Throwball player on his achievement and said that he has brought laurels to the State and country by his outstanding performance. Mr. Hooda assured Ghanshyam Singh that he would be supported to further hone up his skills and would be facilitated with all the facilities as per the Sports Policy of the State Government.
Earlier, Mr. Hooda honoured Ghanshyam by garlanding him. Ghanshyam Singh who hails from village Kurthala in district Mewat has won gold medal in 5th Asian Throwball Championship held recently in Malaysia.
Haryana Transport Minister Mr. Aftab Ahmed, former General Secretary of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) Ch. Rafik Ahmed, Sarpanch of Kurthala village Mr. Prem Vir Singh and other prominent people of Mewat region were also present on this occasion.
