Hooda to honour litterateurs of Sanskrit language

CHANDIGARH, JULY 19 
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will honour litterateurs of Sanskrit language for their contribution in the promotion of the language during the year 2013-14 in a state level function which would be organized on July 22, 2014 at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh.
            While giving this information today, the Director of Haryana Sanskrit Akademi, Mr Sudhir Kumar said that the Haryana Education Minister Mrs Geeta Bhukkal would preside over the function. The Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Minister Pt Shiv Charan Lal Sharma would also be present on the occasion.            
            He said that Shri Jainarayan Yatri of Nelokheri, Karnal would be conferred with the Haryana Sanskrit Gaurav Samman, Acharaya Mahavir Parsad Sharma of Karnal would be conferred with Maharishi Balmiki Samman, Dr Virender Kumar Alankar of Chandigarh with Maharishi Ved Vayas Samman and Dr Virjanand Devkarni of Gurukul Jhajjar with Mahakavi Banabhatta Samman.
            He said that those who would be awarded under Acharaya Samman included Acharya Nirmala of Mor Majra with Guru Virjanand Acharaya Samman, Acharaya Om Parkash Kaushik of Pandu Pindara with Vidyamatrand Pandit Sitaram Shastri Samman and Acharaya Madanmohan Sharma of Pataudi with Pt Yudhister Meemansak Acharya Samman.   He said that Swami Dharam Dev Sanskrit Samaradhak  Samman would be conferred upon Shri Haryana Shekhvati Brahamcharyasharam, Bhiwani and Vishishth Sanskrit Seva Samman to Dr Ashok Kumar Gaur.         
            He said that under Pushtak Puraskar category Gadh Vidya Puraskar would be given to Dr Dharam Dev Vidhyarthi of Kaithal, Anuvaad Vidya Puraskar to Dr Satyapal Sharma of Karnal and Champu Vidya Puraskar  to Dr Meenaski Tiwari of Gurgaon.
            On the occasion, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr K K Khandelwal and Director General Information, Public Relations and Cultural Affairs Department, Mr Sudhir Rajpal would also be present.
