Applications invited for government accommodations

CHANDIGARH, FEB 23
 The Secretary, House Allotment Committee, Haryana has invited applications for allotment of Type-I, Class-III or IV Panchkula and Type V, Panchkula, from the employees of the Government of Haryana  working on regular basis  in the office located at Chandigarh and  Panchkula.
          While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the applications in Form ‘A’ should reach the House Allotment Committee by March 10,2015.  Haryana Government employees who had already been allotted government houses of appropriate category at Chandigarh by Chandigarh Administration were not eligible of the Haryana Government houses at Panchkula and Chandigarh.
          The Haryana Government employees on deputation with other Government, Boards and Corporations were not eligible for the allotment of these houses. Similarly, the employees of Boards and Corporations and of other autonomous bodies were also not eligible.
          He said that employees who had been allotted government houses have to occupy the houses in a specified period; otherwise the applicant would stand debarred for allotment of this type of house for a period of one year.
He said that once the allotment of accommodation would be accepted, the liability for license fee would commence from the date of occupation or from the fifteenth day from the date of issue of the allotment order whichever was earlier and wherever Government employee, after accepting the allotment fails to take possession of the accommodation with 14 days of issue of allotment order he or she would be charged license fee from such date for a period of one month or till the date on which new allottee takes possession of the said accommodation whichever was earlier.
The applicants should be verified by the Head of the Department or Drawing and Disbursing Officer mentioning pay as on January 1,2015 which should be in the range up to Rs 12,901  in case of Type-I, Class-III and IV houses and in the range  up to Rs 37,401 for Type-V houses.
The applications are to be submitted in the concerned department. The same could be downloaded from website haryanapwd-bandr.org.
