The Haryana Government has invited applications for 761 posts of Medical Officers (HCMS-Group A) on regular basis. The last date to apply for these posts is July 1, 2015.
While giving this information today, a spokesman of the Health Department said that these posts include 48 posts which are horizontally reserved for persons with disability.
He said that out of the total posts, 248 posts are for General Category, 293 posts for Scheduled Castes including backlog of 174 posts, 60 posts for Backward Classes (BC)-A, 30 posts for BC-B, 30 for Special BC, 37 for Economically Backward Persons in the General Caste category including backlog of seven posts and 63 for Ex-Servicemen including backlog of 33 posts.
He said that the application forms, eligibility criteria and other information have been made available on the official website of the Department http://
He said that once appointed, the candidates would be posted in rural areas for two years initially. No candidate should apply if he or she does not have the MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, permanent registration or if the result is awaited. All incomplete applications would be rejected. The Roll Number and schedule of the interview would be displayed on the official website. The applicants should visit the website for all updates and important announcements. No call letter will be sent separately, he added.
