Haryana School Board extends submission ofonline applications

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 22
Haryana Board of School Education has extended the last date of submission of online applications by June 30, 2015 for pre-school candidates who are appearing for their secondary and senior secondary examinations in September-2015 in re-appear, marks improvement and additional topic category.
          While stating this information, Board Secretary, Mr Pankaj said that candidates who would be registering themselves online from June 21 to June 30, 2015 would have to pay a late fee of Rs 1,000 per candidate along with general examination fee. No application would be accepted after June 30, 2015.
DIGITAL INDIA WEEK: Haryana Government has decided to celebrate Digital India (DI) week from July 2- July 7, 2015 followed by the launch of Digital India Week (DIW) by Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi from July 1, 2015.
          While stating this today, an official spokesman said that the launch  on July 1 would be followed by week long events of Digital India activities and e-Services which would be done in parallel at District or Village level on all the days of DI week.
          He said that the one main activity per day would include PM event, National Digital Literacy Mission, launch of 10 e-Services, digital locker, Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) and Aadhaar linked Birth Registration.
TREATMENT OF CERTIFIED SEED:Haryana Government has decided to continue the ongoing scheme of 100 per cent treatment of certified seed of wheat with Generic Fungicide Tebuconazole two per cent DS during the Rabi season 2015-16.
            While stating this here today, a spokesman of Agriculture Department said that it has also been decided that purchase of fungicide should be made by Generic name rather than brand name. Similarly, the subsidy at the rate of 80 per cent of the cost of fungicide would be admissible under the scheme and the remaining 20 per cent cost would be borne by the farmers of the State, he added.
